"The Laurie Farber Collection" "An Evening with the Robert Williams Glee Club" (1966) Arty-facts courtesy of Laurie Farber ('72) |
||
▼This performance took place on May 14, 1966. Some surprises repertoire-wise, such as a savage rendering of the Rolling Stones' "Paint It, Black," "I Got You" by James Brown, and "Dirty Water" by the Standells. Nah, what are you, kidding? Lots of selections from The Sound of Music, with Deborah D'Amore ('72) as Maria. Other featured performers from the class of '72 included Steven Bernstein, Amy Starobin, Georgene Borges, and Mitchell Meyer. The class of '73 was represented too, in the persons of Cathy Cardinale, Virginia Ferrante, Guy Fils, Steven Kabatsky, Karen Vascllaro, and Jill Scheisser, to name a few.
