Michael and Judy (Friedman) Sadick ('73), Philip Bashe ('72), Benita Zahn Stulmaker ('72), and Celia Felsher ('72). Celia was one of three raffle winners of the book Jericho: The History of a Long Island Hamlet, by the Jericho Public Library's local history librarian, Betsey Murphy. Remember that really awful thing you did way back when? Yep, it's in here! "I've never won anything before!" said Celia, who lives in Larchmont, New York.
Anyone interested in obtaining a copy should send a check for $20 to the Jericho Public Library, 1 Merry Lane, Jericho, NY 11753, Attn: Mary Anne Dobler. If that name doesn't ring a bell, it will when we add her maiden name: Mary Anne Preite Dobler, from the class of '73, who couldn't make this reunion but says, "I'll send the books right out." |

Lawrence Levinson and Robert Weinstein, both from the class of 1969. About eight or so members of their class attended the reunion. As you might expect, they all came down together from the communal dairy farm collective, or whatever it is, somewhere in upstate New York. Their communal school bus, colorfully painted in day-glo, with flowers and peace signs, caused quite the stir in the Milleridge parking lot. On their way to the party, they made a wrong turn into East Birchwood. Waving and flashing the peace sign, they shouted cheerfully, "People of Jericho! We love you!" to startled residents outside polishing the chrome on their Beemers. Predictably, police were summoned. |
