Nice story here: The class of '72's Annie Koff Abramson and Debi McLaughlin Cionek were close childhood friends at Robert Seaman Elementary School. Following seventh grade, however, Annie's family moved to Arizona (you can read about her in the summer 2010 issue of the online newsletter). Last year the two reconnected — Annie returned to the East Coast in the mid-'80s — and they've gotten together several times.

Another nice story: Sharon Honig Citrin and Meredith Ringler, both from the class of 1970, had their own class reunion two weeks before ours. Sharon lives in Connecticut; Meredith in Colorado. They had such a nice time that, on the spur of the moment, they decided to come to ours too, with Meredith booking a flight just days before the reunion. Sharon, incidentally, is a cantor. That morning, she performed at her temple service, hopped in her car, and made it down to Jericho in two hours.

Teacher's pet? Lynn Goldman Mathias ('73), shown here with Mr. Gaston D'Amato and Mr. Robert Hoffman, has lived in Italy and England and now divides her time between Maryland and Manhattan.

Paul Gress ('72) and Laura Polo, who attended our last reunion, too. Hey, she's got a better attendance record than some of you, and Laura didn't even go to JHS.
