Prior to the party, Sandy (right) and Celia Felsher (left, with Amy Lubow Downs in the middle) drove to their old houses in East Birchwood and then stopped off at George Jackson Elementary School. "We walked around the playground and sat and talked on the same stoop where we used to sit together in sixth grade," says Sandy. Then the ghost of Principal Bowles marched up to them and sternly ordered them to move. |
