Who's Who, What's What

< "The first photo is a group

 shot taken during the One

Act Play Contest of March 4,

 1972," says David. "Many of

us from '73 were involved in

 a drama called Dope! We're

sitting in the entry lobby in

front of a mural painted by

 Corey Strongin.

Pictured from left to right are

 (top row) Mitch Forman,

 Peter Green, David Lutzker,

 Lenny Kellner, David

 Franklin, and Jon Hirsch,

 and (bottom row) Beth

 Fischer, Corinne Langgut,

 Rindi Goldstein, Susan

 O'Hara, and Elizabeth

 Stark.

< "Next is a shot of the public bulletin board (those unmistakable green school tiles) promoting an art room event that Andy Wilensky and I staged, which was conceived, advertised, and carried out all within the same week.

"The poster reads: 'Come Today, 5th Period, to Room 509 for Artistic Be-in. Clothing Will Be Torn, Refreshments Thrown.'"

 < There must have been

    over fifty people — a

    mixed group from '72,

    '73, and '74 — in the room

    to see this standing-room-

    only performance piece."

    Left to right (top row):

    Marjorie Freedman, Lee

   Bloomrosen, Mark

   Ratner, Laurie Hulsman.

    Bottom row: Rhonda

   Green, Robert Foster,

   unidentified, unidentified,

   Rael Reif, unidentified,

   Sandy Sylvan, and, sitting

    in front, Sherry Freeman.

Help us fill in the blanks?

< Left to right: unidentified, Carl Denauski, Barry Waters, Robert Schechter, Tim Manek, Jeff Rathaus (standing), Todd Weisman, Corrine Langut, Rhonda Green, Robert Foster, and behind them, at right, Marjorie Freedman and Lee Bloomrosen.
< Remember when cell phones were so huge they had to be mounted on a wall, then painstakingly removed and carted around in a wheelbarrow by a crew of two or three? Haw haw haw, technology was so primitive then! Here the class of '72's Beth Flanders and Jim Rudy demonstrate the iPhone of its day.

< Kim LaRosa ('74) and Grainger Cole ('72). David: "I let Kim share my locker. She had a big raccoon coat that took up the whole skinny locker!"

< We regret to inform you that the photo at left is not blurry at all. It's your aging eyes.

We'll ID the people for you while you go fetch your spectacles: (left to right) Michael Mauer ('72), Monica Medina ('73) in front of Jeff Friedman ('72), Lenny Kellner ('73) behind the camera ("one of the first video cameras ever," says David, "on loan from the AV room in the library, which he and Arthur Miller ('74) [next in photo] were in charge of"), Ilise Zimmerman ('72), and Richard Serko ('73) in the Snidley Whiplash black coat.

< Ah, that's better! The same folks as the photo above, but with Gwen Sylvan ('74) at far left, Patty Leahy ('73), second from right, and not sure who that is at far right. Help, anyone?

< Paula Penn ('73) and Meryl Edelman ('73); in back, Linda Caputo ('72).

< A sliver of Sal Guasto ('73) at far left, plus Janice Turtletaub ('73) and Louise Watnik ('73). Not sure who that is in front with the sheepskin jacket and aviator shades.

< Young love! Richard Libes ('72) and ????

< Pretty picture of Karen McBride ('73).
