"Hey, look what I just bought!" says Dr. Joe Friedlander ('71). Actually, Joe and about twenty others were given a guided tour of the school by members of the Honors Society. Because it was a Saturday, however, the school's Starbucks was closed, as was its brand new Peter Luger franchise, located next to the traditional cafeteria. Many thanks to Jericho superintendent Mr. Henry Grisham and Ms. Lois Smith for arranging the tour.

That's Larry Licht ('72), Michael Rudy ('71), Bonnie Slovitt Parent ('71), Dennis DeVito ('71), and Janet Rhoads Leslie ('71) about to begin their tour by the school's main entrance, next to the auditorium. You can't see it, but students are now allowed to ride their Segues down the hallways. Too much walking, like, y'know?

Debra Saltzman ('71) and Eileen Byrnes Wladyka ('71) relive memories of smoking in the stairwell. Or maybe not.

Andrea Minsky Koonin ('71) and Tom Navarra ('72) at the school. Their overall impression: These young punks today don't know how to properly decorate a high-school hallway. That green soccer and football motif at left? So tired! Now, the classes of '71, '72, and '73 ─ their hallways decorations were the stuff of greatness!

Recognize this? It's the auditorium. Left to right are Larry Licht ('72), Joe Friedlander ('71), Carol Forziat DiMeo ('71), Janet Rhoads Leslie ('71), Michael Rudy ('71), and Dennis DiVito ('71). Rehearsals have just gotten underway for this year's senior-class play, Oh! Calcutta! Yep, times sure have changed.

Before leaving, Joe Friedlander just couldn't resist. Hey, at least he didn't call in a bomb scare. In an unrelated observation, boy, institutional green walls just never lose their intimate charm, wouldn't ya say?
