Here's why they're smarter: While the rest of us were still loitering in the

 entrance room, Linda and Larry knew to duck into the beautiful sun room,

 where the really good cocktail-hour food was. As proof that nothing changes,

 everyone else soon followed like lemmings.

 Tom Jendrzejewski (back to camera) joins the Alles family: from left to right

 are Maureen Alles Bifulco ('73), Terence Alles ('77), Kevin Alles ('75), and

 Catherine Alles Kaufmann ('69). We were thrilled that all four could reunite at

 the reunion.

 Not easy to identify everyone else at a distance, but passing west to east we

 see Mrs. Karen Schwartz, Jon Greenberg, Janet Rhoads Leslie ('71) (back to

 camera) talking with Jill Greenberg ('72) and Carolann James ('71); behind them,

 mostly obscured, are Ilise Zimmerman ('72) catching up with Michael Gilbert

 ('72); and Amy Lubow Downs ('72), with her back to the camera. 

 Here are Amy Lubow Downs and Alexis Weisman, both from '72. Alexis,

 though she wasn't on the reunion committee, arrived early and helped us set

 up. Thanks, Alexis!

 Naturally, food was served during the cocktail hour. Here, then, the obligatory

 Linda Caputo Friedmann and Robert Blond Tropper. Both of Linda's

 children, now grown up, attended the Long Island School for the Gifted,

 where Roberta has been principal for twenty-five years, and Linda, an

 attorney, serves on the school's board of directors.
